Spinal accessory nucleus
Branchial motor nucleus of cranial nerve XI (spinal accessory nerve); located in the caudal medulla and cervical spinal cord, this nucleus provides innervation to the trapezius and sternomastoid (also called the "accessory nucleus").

conveys motor control signals to sternomastoid and trapezius muscles
