Rubrospinal tract
Descending motor pathway by which upper motor neurons in the red nucleus project to lower motor neurons in the lateral ventral horn of the cervical spinal cord.
Location:
brainstem tegmentum and lateral column of spinal cord
Function:
conveys motor commands from motor cortex to ventral horn motor neurons
