Anterior corticospinal tract
Non-decussating component (about 10% of total) of the corticospinal projection that originates in the posterior frontal lobe. This tract (also called the "ventral corticospinal tract") terminates bilaterally in the medial aspect of the spinal cord ventral horn, where it is involved in the control of axial and proximal limb musculature.

conveys upper motor neuronal control of medial ventral horn
